Effective commodity price risk management is crucial to preserving profitability and building successful business plans. Every day geopolitical issues and rising populations pose a greater influence on global commodity markets, adding to uncertainties in weather and currency fluctuations. This makes the risk profile for today’s food processors, producers and exporters immense.

This workshop will cover:

Jeffry Kuijpers is Director, Agricultural Commodities and Alternative Investments EMEA in London. Jeffry markets CME Group’s suite of commodity products (grains, livestock, biofuels and alternative investments), to customers including commercial entities, bank commodity desks and proprietary traders. Recent products he has been involved in developing include the European Biofuels product suite, CPO as well as the Agri OTC products that are available for clearing at CME Clearing Europe. Jeffry has an MSc in Agricultural Economics from Wageningen University in Wageningen, The Netherlands, and attended the Eli Broad College of
Business and the College of Agriculture and Natural Resources at Michigan State University.
